The techniques used to work with glass are quite complex and require years of apprenticeship. The Murano glass museum is a great way to learn about its history and educate the eye to spot the characteristics of Murano glass in its millenary development. I also strongly advise we arrange an exclusive private visit to Lino Tagliapietra’s showroom and admire his masterpieces appreciated all over the world. We can arrange brief workshops so to introduce you to the fascinating world of Murano glass, as well. Please note Murano glass is based on soda, it needs constant temperature, high speed of execution and concentration. We can arrange a workshop to make a glass bead (please note this is something we can arrange in Venice, too!), or you can try to engrave glass with the help of an expert artist.
