Murano and Glass Art, what else?

Murano is an island close to Venice with a fascinating history.

It used to be an island rich in orchards, salt marshes and villas featuring exotic plants in their gardens. It wasn’t before the end of the 13th century that it became the world-wide known island for the glass industry. Starting in the middle of the 15th century it combined more and more artisanal heritage and constant research, and focused on designing luxury products and technical innovation.

During our tour we will discover the glass tradition visiting the glass museum, artisans’ workshops, prestigious showrooms and authentic furnaces still active today.
